IT Controlling

IT Controlling deals with the planning, control and target orientation of IT projects in companies. This results in solutions for the increasing benefit and cost pressure to which IT is exposed. For this purpose, IT Controlling provides adequate tools and results. These relate, among other things, to the identification, evaluation and prioritization of projects in the respective planning period and are drawn up in cooperation with heads of departments.

In the management of IT projects, it is relevant to continuously monitor each project in the project controlling. This allows warning signals to be recognised in good time and ensures the chances of completion on time and on budget. When defining and estimating IT projects, the focus is on the manufacturing processes of the IT products. The aim is a commercial product calculation.

In the PMO, we are actively involved in development and implementation, ensure governance according to proven standards such as PMBOK, PRINCE2 and CMMI, offer training and coaching, conduct project audits, manage the IT project portfolio, manage resources and promote knowledge management. In the Project Office we support planning, structure projects, analyse profitability, estimate costs and expenses, create project plans, collect project master data, check hours and appointments, evaluate project information and create reports and decision templates
